A Christ-centered, missional church …

Welcome Pastor Kip Murphy and his wife, Lee!
We rejoice in the arrival of our new pastor, Kip Murphy. He is anxious to get to know everyone of us, so please remember to wear your name tag. There is only one of him and but hundreds of us, so this is greatly appreciated!! When the service is over, please place your name tags in the basket in front of the magnetic board. If you need a name tag, please sign up at the information table in the entry way.

Sunday, May 31 will be our Youth Director, Mike Ossewaarde’s, last day at First Pres. Mike has served here for 3 ½ years. Mike will be preaching at the 10am service. We will send off Mike and Annie with a "Goodbye" Pancake Breakfast. Make sure to stay after the service for this Fundraiser, raising money for local high school and middle school students to go to Young Life Camp this summer! Come for some pancakes, sausage, OJ, and/or coffee served by our local Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers and say, "Goodbye," to the Ossewaardes.

As Graduation Sunday approaches we want to announce that all Harbor Springs High School Seniors, friends, and family are invited to a Baccalaureate Service at First Presbyterian Church of Harbor Springs on Thursday June 4 at 7PM. This service will include a message from Will and Holly Henegan, a reflection from teachers at the high school, music by Craig Cottrill and Peter Sims, special music from some of our very own Seniors, and the greatly anticipated baby picture slideshow! All are invited. Seniors need to show up at 6:30PM and should wear their caps and gowns. There will be a reception with refreshments to follow.

We look forward to Summer Worship at 10 am during the summer. The session has decided that we will not have an 8am service during the summer. The goal is to experience cohesion as a congregation and not lose touch with each other during the summer months.

Vacation Bible School will be August 17-21 from 9-noon
Kids (ages 4 through those entering sixth grade), come to G-Force Adventure Park at FPCHS and find learn to use God's love to Move! Act! Care! Follow! and Share!

Prayers Needed?
Do you know someone who you would like to be added to our prayer list or who needs a visitation? Please let them know first, and then call the office (526-7332). We will ask for the correct name spelling and any other information that they would like to be shared with our Deacons. Stephen Ministers are also available to support these needs.
