Ash Wednesday Service Scheduled
On Wednesday, February 22, we we hold our annual Ash Wednesday service with our Methodist brothers and sisters at the Harbor Springs Methodist Church beginning at 7:00 p.m. Join us as we focus on the full meaning of Ash Wednesday and offer the imposition of ashes and a time of reconciliation at the cross. New support group for care-givers begins February 13. Are you a care-giver to a spouse, child, friend or loved one? If so, join us for a new support group forming at the church on Monday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. Facilitated by Rev.David Behling, this opportunity is open to the community. Grief Support Group Forming. On February 23, a Grief Sharing Support Group will begin meeting every Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in classroom #7. This will be a time for support, sharing and learning as we travel with life’s losses. For more information about this ongoing, confidential, community-based support group, please call Diane at 231-526-1446. No religious affiliation is necessary to participate.

Torah Study continues...
Are you interested in discovering the treasures hidden in the scriptures of the Old Testament, specifically the Torah? Then please join Deb Allen to uncover the deep meanings of these beautiful ancient texts using Tom Bradford's study/commentary. Day by Day/Week by Week book study and discussion
Peter Sims invites you to join him for the new “Day by Day/Week by Week” book study group. The group meets in the Gathering Place on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. to read and discuss a collection of Dr. Richard L. Invites you to join them in discussion of "A Public Faith: How Followers of Christ Should Serve the Common Good"; by author Miroslav Wolf. A Professor of Systematic Theology at Yale Divinity School, and director of the Yale Center for Faith and Culture, Wolf addresses serving the common good while realizing a vision for human flourishing in relation to other faiths, and under political engagement in a pluralistic world. “That the World May Know” video series continues
Join Woody Woodruff for this heart-warming, personal experience with the Bible. Video producer Ray Vander Laan adds a special touch in his narration of Bible stories on location in Judea. The video was shot from helicopter at many historic sites. Class meets Sunday mornings at 8:50 a.m. in the Gathering Place (Fellowship Hall). Attend any or all, as each DVD is stand-alone.
