Habitat & Church Hammers news

Habitat house in process. Join us.
The Church Hammers are at it again! House #6 for the Church Hammers and #29 for the NW Michigan Habitat affiliate, began on August 7. Our family, Jeff Doss and Cindy Duffiney and two sons, have been planning and working with us on the start up of this 1,200sq.ft., 3-bedroom energy star, handicap accessible home.

The foundation is going in the week of 8/23. We will have pre-built walls delivered on Tues, Sept 7. We will be having workbees on one weekday and Saturdays to get the house weathered in as fast as possible. Stay tuned, we will be looking for volunteers, food and support! One way to support us will be by enjoying our annual Swiss Steak dinner on Wed., Sept 29 at United Methodist Church in Petoskey ($10 adults, $5 children).
